Unfortunately, there is some bad news for the soon-to-be-cross-platform game on both the PlayStation and Xbox with the familiar version of the PC.
We are talking about the Spellforce 3 console port Enhanced in boys development at Grimlore Games for THQ Nordic. And it was THQ who announced with a short message on Twitter that the development of this console version needs a little more time to be able to refine and give the players who await it on PS and Xbox the same experience as those who are. already savoring this updated version on PC.
It is therefore a delay in the exit which was necessary especially given the complexity of the commands.
Spellforce 3 Reforced, the wait on PlayStation and Xbox continues
Since its inception, Spellforce has managed to bring classic fantasy-themed role-playing games to an agreement with those who prefer real-time strategy and continue to find players and fans.
The development of #SpellForceReforced is going to take a little bit more time. In order to bring the best possible RPG/RTS to consoles, we want to make sure the game is in the best possible shape before #SpellForce III makes its debut on consoles slightly later, on June 7, 2022. pic.twitter.com/6BL1yKQofS

The Reforced version of Spellforce 3 has been recording positive comments from PC gamers for a few months now. However, PlayStation 4 and 5 players as well as Xbox One and Series should also have joined. Because this game, remastered in a way, was due to arrive on March 8th.
But that won't be the case. THQ Nordic has in fact announced via Twitter that it will take "a little more time" to develop on consoles. And in fact, the publisher has announced that the game will arrive in June: day 7. Mark it on your calendar. Replies to the publisher's message are moderately understanding. Especially since THQ Nordic has made it clear that the delay will serve to have a better game. However, we have traced a somewhat anomalous situation. In fact, there is a user who complained that those who pre-ordered last year with a discounted price of 25% when the launch date was moved received an automatic refund.
This means that these players will pay full price when they want to buy the game. Certainly this is something the publisher should have foreseen. However, we will see if the extra time will also serve to settle this issue and if the players will be satisfied.
