Garena Free Fire has been removed from Google Play Store and Apple's App Store in India. As game users, we are still not sure why this move.
There are no official comments from the developers of Free Fire yet or from Apple or Google.
News reports speculate that South Korean wattleroyale game developer Krafton is behind the move. Krafton is a manufacturer of PUBG that was banned in India and later came up with BMGI.

The creators of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Krafton have accused Garena of copying the theme of their game. Krafton has opened a lawsuit against Garena seeking closure. PUBG developer has also sued Google and Apple for allowing Garena to be available in their app store.
Free Fire Max is still available in the Google Play Store and I'm not sure how long it will last. Garena was one of the most popular warroyale games in India and after PUBG was banned it collected a large user base here. In-app purchases at Garena have allowed it to raise good mone
