Padma Awards 2022 Winners: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Serum Institute of India (SII) MD Cyrus S. Poonawalla will be honored with Padma Bhushan.

On Tuesday, the government announced the Padma awards on the eve of Republic Day. In this, it has been announced to give Padma awards to 128 celebrities of the country. Although the biggest names in this are the country's first CDS Bipin Rawat and former UP CM Kalyan Singh, they will be awarded the Padma Bhushan posthumously.

Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft ~ Satya Nadella :

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has been announced to be honored with Padma Bhushan. Please tell that he has been given this award in the trade-industry category. It is worth mentioning that Nadella, of Indian-American origin, was born on 19 August 1967 in Hyderabad.

He had his early education at Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet. After majoring in technical engineering, he earned a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Chicago. At the age of 25, he started working at Microsoft as a server group.

Let us tell you that Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992. In these 22 years he pioneered many products like Window Server, Developers Tool. However, his real identity came from cloud computing. According to media reports, Satya Nadella was one of the few employees who suggested the development of cloud computing. After his suggestion, Microsoft started working on it. Nadella was soon made president of the Server and Tools division. He was then made Senior Vice President of the Online Services Division, Vice President of the Microsoft Business Division, Corporate Vice President of Business Solutions and Search and Advertising Platforms, and eventually Executive Vice President of the Cloud and Enterprise Division. Alphabet (Google) CEO Sundar Pichai has also been honored with Padma Bhushan by the Government of India. He has also been given this award in the trade-industry category. The real name of Sundar Pichai of Indian origin is Sundararajan.

He was born in Madurai (Tamil Nadu) in 1972, but grew up in Chennai. His mother Lakshmi was a stenographer and father Raghunath Pichai was an electrical engineer.

In 1995, when Sundar went to America for studies, due to financial constraints, he saved money by using all his old things. He wanted to do a PhD, but the situation became such that he had to do a job. The first job was done by Sundar as a product manager in a company. After that worked as a consultant in another company. Pichai did his BTech from IIT Kharagpur in 1993. In the same year, got a scholarship to study at Stanford University. Pichai earned a master's degree in engineering from there and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Google in 2004, he worked at software company Applied Materials and management consulting firm McKenzie.

Sundar joined Google in April 2004. Sundar Pichai's first project at Google was given in the Product Management and Innovation Branch. Here he was given the task of improving Google's search tool and bringing users of other browsers to Google. Meanwhile, Sundar suggested to the company that Google should launch its own browser.

Sundar was instrumental in making Google's Android operating system and Google Chrome launched in 2008. With such work and his idea, he came to the eyes of Google's founder Larry Page. In 2015, he was made the CEO of the company after holding positions such as Product Chief, Android Operating System Chief at Google.

Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla was born in 1941. He is an Indian Parsi businessman,

Cyrus Poonawalla is considered as the Vaccine King of India. He is the chairman of the Poonawalla Group, which also includes Serum Institute of India. It was the Serum Institute that produced Covishield in India.

He attended The Bishop's School in Pune, and later graduated from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, University of Pune, in 1966.

At the same time, the government has decided to honor Cyrus Poonawalla, MD of Serum Institute, who is leading the country in the war against the Corona epidemic, with Padma Bhushan.

He was earlier also awarded the Padma Shri in 2005 by the Honorable President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
